A Resort Entry fee is applicable to all motor vehicles and passengers of coaches and taxis entering all Victorian Ski Resorts during the declared snow season – 9th of June to 7th October, 2018. All vehicles stopping in a Victorian Alpine Resort must have a valid authorised Resort Entry Permit.
The resort entry fees are paid for access to the resort and help fund a wide range of visitor services provided to you by the Mount Hotham Alpine Resort Management Board.
Mt Hotham’s FREE village shuttle bus service operates from 6.45am to 2am* six days a week, and to 3am on Fridays.
To catch a ride on the village bus, simply wait at a bus stop sign located around the village. Buses stop at twelve designated bus stops from the Corral Day car park, down to the end of the village, opposite the Davenport Access Trail and also at the overnight car park zones and cross-country skiing areas towards Dinner Plain.
When you are parking your car overnight the buses will stop and collect you from within the overnight car park zone.
The courtesy Village Transport Service is just one of many services provided by Mt Hotham Resort Management through resort entry fees.
Bus service may finish earlier in the shoulder season.
If the weather is producing snowfalls or low visibility, there may be delays on the Great Alpine Road. If guests are coming from Melbourne during these times we recommend using the Great Alpine Road via Omeo as an alternative route to getting here.
